LxAM Takes a Step Beyond Winnipeg With Liftoff Recordings Release

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Winnipeg’s LxAM is set to release a new single through Liftoff Recordings, the independent electronic label founded by American DJ and production team Disco Fries. “Get Out My Way” arrives December 11, 2026, giving the 17-year-old Canadian producer another platform to reach dance music listeners worldwide.

LxAM, born Liam Harvey, has begun earning attention for vocal-driven house productions that combine emotional themes with dancefloor-ready energy. His previous single, “I Just Wanna Dance,” was featured on Spotify’s Bangers editorial playlist, an early streaming milestone for the young artist.

With “Get Out My Way,” LxAM explores the point when a troubled relationship becomes a barrier to personal growth. The 128 BPM track combines an expressive vocal hook with a firm bassline and upbeat rhythm, creating a confident record about choosing to move on.

“I wanted the track to feel like a release,” LxAM said. “It is about getting to a point where you know you have to keep moving and stop letting somebody else hold you back.”

Liftoff Recordings was established by Disco Fries, the duo of Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic. Their work includes collaborations with Tiësto and remixes for pop stars Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and Flo Rida. The label has long served as an outlet for their releases and for developing electronic artists.

For LxAM, the release signals continued momentum for a young producer bringing a Winnipeg perspective to the global house music community.
